My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term was the
Number of the Day because it was fun and easy.

I think that the Number of the Day is a good idea and I do not
know why some people do not like it. Overall it is very fun.

Something that has challenged me this term has been the
Maths Challenge. It has been hard because the clues are fun but tricky.
I think it is very fun though.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Paper Plane
Challenge because it was fun to finally make a paper plane. It was
hard because I have never made a paper plane in my life. In the end,
I had good shots and I think that it was fun activity.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was PE, it was fun to be
in my element again. I love sport and it was hard at times because the
other team was winning. I think all of the games that I was in I won but after all, it was very fun.

An aim I have for my learning is to get 20/20 in the Number of the
Day every time because I usually get 19/20 or 18/20. I hope I

puzzle of Matariki

This week I did the Matariki puzzle and it was fun my favorite part was drawing the kite because I let my mind go wild but still in the guidelines I want to do it again. I think my Matariki puzzle is a supernova, after all, it was super fun. At the start, I thought that it wough be hard but it was easier then I thought but it was pretty easy if I say so my self.

This week I did the Matariki worksheet and it was fun and I want do it again I think this was good but I think that Synthesis eggs is way better.

Today I did the Maths challenge and it was hard I think that it was a supernova and it was fun.

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were
given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to ver
y hard because I have never made a paper aeroplane before.

I decided to use the design of the normal one.

The hardest part was my draft because I had no clue what I was doing.

During our competition time, I managed to score 46.

Today I did my sick sentences I did the snail in the strawberry it was fun and the hardest part was the story and this is it. It was just a normal day as a snail and I was playing with my friend Jen. I was on the seesaw with her and then a big strawberry appeared and I went in. Mmmm that is some good strawberry will take some home with me. Then the bully Joe said give me that I said no and then he ran at me and me broke him.it turned out good I think it is a supernova

This week I did my Synthesis eggs about white whale and it was fun I learnt lost of things like they are not albino like I thought.

My synthesis Eggs was about fire tornadoes it was very fun the hardest part was the knowing things

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Cullen and Christian.

At first, we had trouble getting Cullen to agree with me.

The easiest thing was cutting the tap.

The best part of our tower was making the support beams.

Our tower looked good and like the Eiffel tower.

In the end, it was cool.

This week I did my synthesis eggs it was very fun but I did not know what the last bit meant.
Overall it was very fun.
